Track Notes

1-6 Taken From Steve Nieve’s opera “Welcome to The Voice” Elvis sung these tracks in a 2000 concert performance of the album in New York.
7 Also from “Welcome to The Voice”. Elvis performed this with The Dallas Symphony in 2010.
8-9 Two songs Elvis has performed with The Jazz Passengers in the mid nineties.
10 The Elvis track “Button My Lip” contains “interpolated elements” of this track reportedly.
11,13,14,19 Steve has performed many snippets of songs down the years, many still not identified by me. On New Year’s Eve 1981 in New York he performed a 13 minute solo improvisation containing many show tunes. Here are just a few of those.
12 Sung by Mary Wiegold at Meltdown 1995.
15 Incidental music in some 1987 solo shows.
16 Traditional birthday song, performed on numerous occasions.
17 Elvis performed this track on a 2003 episode of Frasier.
18 Elvis joked on the similarity of the melody to “Poor Fractured Atlas”.
20 Has featured 4 times as a snippet in “I Don’t Wanna Go To Chelsea” All in Australia, appropriately enough!
21 Elvis played a snippet of this (aka “The Red Flag”) at a Rome show on 1st May 1995.
